Hi Jackie, I left another comment on your bird post, forgot to leave one here too - what a nice start to a lino print - it's great! They are so hard to do, I don't think I've done one since college.......many years ago!
Linocuts are harder but they endure longer than the soft cuts. I am still working on my skills. You may enjoy checking out this Catalog...i don't work here nor affiliated with them...but i bought my tools from them and really love them. http://www.imcclains.com/ And if you are interested in a yahoo group devoted to hand carved stamps let me know. Or if you would like to do an exchange. I am one of your friends in the Sketchbook Project...Cosmicarcata
Thank you so much, that's really sweet of you. I'll check out the link, I'm definitely going to persevere as I've seen some amazing results with lino print.

ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comments!
Lino prints are really hard, but I'm going to persevere and hopefully the next one will be a little better!
Wow, I remember doing one of these a while ago. It is a challenge but I think your first one came out great!
